Tours to Transnistria
from Chisinau every weekend
Dubossary is one of the oldest cities in Transnistria, mentioned in documents since the 14th century. It was home to the first hydroelectric plant on the Dniester, and in 1991–1992 the city became a front line in the republic's defense, earning it the title "City of Military Glory".
One-day excursions let you see the Dubossary hydroelectric plant, visit the "Bouquet of Moldova" winery, and take photos at the lavender fields near Goyany.
For a deeper exploration of the district, we recommend a two‑day route visiting the villages of Rogi and Goyany, the Yagorlyk reserve and the rock monastery.
Our local guides will tell you about the city's six centuries of history and show you the district's most scenic and significant spots.
Dubossary is suitable for nature and rural tourism, gastronomic excursions, and discovering the history of Transnistria.
